We will not hire minimum wage. We offer healthcare benefits including maternity and many options to our team, we offer retirement benefits with a big company match. Separate, fully enclosed play spaces for each program, secured with locked gates, ensure a secure setting. Age-appropriate playground equipment and covered sandboxes make outdoor play a consistent joy for the children, rain or shine.

Amanda Brewer, Center Director

My name is Amanda Brewer and I am excited to join the Inspire! Penfield team! I am dedicated to Early Childhood Education and have been a director in a licensed facility for the past 2 years. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Nutrition from Buffalo State College and my Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from Medaille College. I have many years experience teaching in classrooms, partnering with local school districts to ensure quality programming, working as a First Responder in Penfield and Irondequoit and working with children and families as a supervisor in Child Protective Services and Department of Human Services. Safety is my number one priority. Leading a team to ensure a safe, quality and nurturing program is my goal for Inspire Penfield. I look forward to working with all the children, families and staff and my door is always open.

Kathleen "Kat" Parsons, Regional Director

My name is Kathleen (Kat) Parsons, and I am the Regional Director of all three Inspire Schools. I have my BA in Sociology and my CDA in Infant-Toddler care. I have been with Inspire! since June of 2016 starting as an assistant school-age teacher, moving my way up to an Infant program lead at our Pittsford location, and then a Director at our Brockport location.

Outside of Inspire!, I enjoy spending time with my husband, and my friends, exploring Rochester, hiking, and reading a good book! You could also find me at your favorite Chipotle or Starbucks location if you look hard enough.

Jennifer "Jen" Price, Executive Director

Hello! My name is Jennifer (Jen) Price, and I am proud to serve as the Executive Director for the Inspire Learning and Childcare locations in Brockport, Penfield, and Pittsford.

I joined the Inspire! family in July 2014 as an assistant teacher in the infant classroom at our Brockport location. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of growing within this incredible organization, eventually stepping into the role of Executive Director. My journey has given me firsthand experience in the classroom, deep insight into our programs, and a true appreciation for the amazing educators and families who make Inspire so special.

I am passionate about creating welcoming, nurturing environments where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. Our centers are more than schools — they are places of belonging, growth, and connection.

When I’m not at the center, I love spending time with my family, gardening, being creative, and baking.

At Inspire, we believe in building strong relationships and partnering with families. We are honored to be part of your child’s early learning journey — and we can’t wait to become a part of your family, just as you become part of ours!
